Seeking opinions in Germany

We obviously needed to get some additional opinions about the new condition. On recommendation of our then trusted Homeopath, we drove up to Wurzburg to meet a Nephrologist turned Cardiologist and seek his opinion.
"It's (kidney disease) is not like cancer. But it's not nice," were his words.

He basically had the same opinion as the Nephrologist in Heidelberg.
That it was not a wait and watch game...leading to the same eventuality.

My research on the web continued and I happened to chance upon a seemingly renowned Homeopath who had experience with Kidney disease. The only problem - she was based out of Austria.
It was no issue to drive over, but I decided to call and email her to tell her about my condition.

She referred us to one of Europe's most well known Homeopath, based in Hannover and even requested him to meet me urgently. He and his team was kind enough to accommodate us into their schedule and spend more than an hour with us.

Unfortunately, he too agreed with the other two doctors. He said I should be thankful that I am asymptomatic and that he will help delay the deterioration but he cannot stop it.

With opinions from modern medicine, Homeopathy all leading to the same conclusion, we had to accept this reality.

With this began the schedule of weekly visits to the Nephrologist in Heidelberg to draw blood, provide urine samples...wait for the reports and monitor the progress of this condition.
With this began my diet restrictions - no milk products, no lentils, no eggs (essentially no protein) and very very limited salt.
